This was destroyed within a day after purchasing it for the cockatiels. All the ladders are chewed off and useless. You see this is why the Budgies get nicer things and you don’t. The Budgies are in the hockey room now. No more toy for you!!!

She is obsessed with jumping on the computer. Like the cell phones she chews at it. I have to close the computer when I leave the room as she is almost certain to chew a key off . (computer is usually cleaner she was eating rice krispies on it earlier)

Snow has now laid 5 eggs. Her and Kiwi have been looking after them but we are going to try gently to move them into a nesting box.

Look at all that shit on where they are sitting. Pigs. Someone better clean that up.🤪

Budgies, like all birds, do poop frequently, and it’s entirely normal for them to defecate where they perch or sit.   3. Training: You can train your budgies to poop in a specific area of their cage by observing their habits and placing a designated perch or tray in the spot where they usually poop. Over time, they may learn to use that spot more often.
  4. Provide Toys and Distractions: Budgies may poop more frequently when they are active and playing. Providing them with toys and activities can help keep them engaged and may reduce the amount of time they spend perched in one place.

Remember that frequent and normal pooping is a sign of a healthy bird. If you notice any changes in the color, consistency, or frequency of their droppings, or if your budgies show other signs of illness (such as changes in behavior, eating habits, or appearance), it’s essential to consult with an avian veterinarian, as these could be indicators of a health problem.

In summary, budgies are not being “slobs” when they poop where they sit; it’s a natural behavior for birds. Regular cleaning and some basic training can help you manage their mess and keep their living space cleaner.
